The new Navi 22 chip from AMD, which is installed on the RX 6700 XT, performs almost 15 percent slower than an AMD RX 6800. The new entry-level card in the AMD 6000 series also costs significantly in terms of the RRP fewer. An RX 6700 XT should go over the virtual counter from 479 euros. That’s a fair bit cheaper than the RRP of the RX 6800.
Which power supply do you need at least for an AMD RX 6700 XT?
The AMD RX 6700 XT is relatively hungry when it comes to power consumption in games. Depending on the model, especially with cards that are overclocked ex-works, the power consumption can be on the level of an RX 6800. This means that you should install at least a high-quality 600-watt power supply. If you still own a power-hungry CPU with many cores, 650-700 watts are recommended.
How big are the different RX 6700 XT models?
Even the supposedly smallest AMD Navi graphics cards can be quite large. Depending on the cooling solution, the models can be up to 32 centimeters long. So before you buy it, it’s better to look at the technical data of the case again to see if there is enough space.
