The AMD Radeon RX 6800 is a slimmed-down RX 6800 XT and thus the current entry-level model of the Navi 21 generation. With a full 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, it is also ideally suited for current games in WQHD resolution. It is slightly faster than a Geforce RTX 3070 from nVidia but also costs a little more about the RRP.

When it comes to power consumption, the AMD Radeon RX 6800 is extremely efficient and consumes comparatively little power at around 235 watts. In comparison: The Radeon RX 6800 XT treats itself to around 300 watts, the Nvidia RTX 3070 only around 220 watts, and the RTX 3080 around 320 watts.
